This week we have been looking forward to our summer events, so here is a list of some of the things we will be doing (more events and more details to be added as we get more organised!):

Friday 18th May – Zubaidah Happy Hips hafla. A party for bellydancers with performances, stalls, a chance to just dance, and much more. Raising money for Cavendish Cancer Care.

Saturday 26th May – Kelham Island Karnival, Victoria Works, Rowland Street, Sheffield, S3 8DE. All day and night from 1pm, indoor and outdoor performances, bands, circus, cabaret, dancers, street theatre, sideshows, food and drink…….

Saturday 16th June – Chance to Dance festival, all over Sheffield city centre, loads of dance acts of all varieties to see!

Saturday 7th July – Sunfest beer festival, The Rising Sun, Fulwood, Sheffield. One of our regular events. A lovely atmosphere along with the beer, plus food and bands.

Saturday 14th July – Stannington Carnival. Another of our regular summer appearances.

Friday 20th-Sunday 22nd July – Gothla, Leicester. A weekend of gothic bellydance, with shows and workshops.

Friday 27th-Sunday 29th July – Dub Odyssey, North Anston. A meet up for VW enthusiasts, with stalls and entertainment. Happy to be back for a second time to this event.
